Paris – sketch your heart out!

13 – 21 April 2020

Join Tony McNeight and Liz Maxwell for a 9 day sketch tour to Paris

Tony will show you how to get the very best out of this amazing city and on to paper.

We will be sketching the Eiffel Tower of course as it is so iconic, but more than that, we will be visiting interesting and different places that are a sketchers dream.

We’ll spend a day scooting around Paris in citroen 2cv cars, driven by Parisians who really know the other side of their Paris. Sketching the oldest quarter of Paris, La Marais, enjoying the magnificent Luxembourg gardens. Visiting the infamous Montmartre, Versailles Palace, Monet’s beloved home in Giverny, and just sitting at one of the many left bank cafes, sketching Parisian life as it goes by.

We will be staying in the Latin Quarter on the left bank – home of the old artists – so you will be immersed as an artist in the home of famous European artists.

Remember, when you sketch you are no longer a tourist  for in that moment you are a person of that city
