‘Houses’ were this week’s sketch subject. Large objects with pointy bits, windows doors and roofs. But first we got a bit more practice with mixing colours.
Coffee pots are a far cry from houses, but nevertheless good practice with mixing colours that can take us anywhere with exercises set us up to apply and bloom colour confidently. Remember to build the house simply from its basic structure before you add all the ‘fancy’ bits and try and keep on the page – difficult I know when there is so much of the world to get in. “…if I can just squeeze in the tree… oops – I’m off the page!“
