First time in the  city. This is an old haunt of mine especially the tennis club at Pompallier but the only thing swinging on Friday morning at the club were not rackets, but pens and coloured pencils.  The beauty about Erins Hills course structure is,  that it doesn’t matter where we teach or even where we take our sketching – its portable and this allows students to go anywhere and as I say –

“you are always in control of your subject” meaning you can choose the angle and shape  you want  in your sketch – even if its sketching the Leaning Tower of Pisa ( from underneath) .

This weeks students really enjoyed first class ending up at Marys cafe in St Marys Bay Road afterwards where we carried on sketching !
